Salon Director
Michael Georgiou
Michael Georgiou salon director and founder chose the family tradition of Hairdressing after completing business school and has worked to deliver a unique and personal experience for his clients. Starting hairdressing in London he then came to Cardiff to train in one of the cities leading salons, Michael has also worked across Southern Europe and Middle East for one of the world’s leading salon groups, he has a passion for colour and styling combined. Being part of National and international artistic teams he has an eye for the latest trends but a passion for the classic styling in the industry.
Michael completed a Science Degree in Cosmetology and Chemistry to further his knowledge and credentials, His main passion is getting the right look for the client, he doesn’t believe a trend is for everyone and will put all his knowledge and experience into getting the perfect blend of colour and style.
In 2019 Michael became the artistic director of The VIBE team South Wales, creating and organizing the successful VIBE show and has now become educational director for the company. He also created SG Education providing business assistance to other Hairdressing professionals around the UK.
Senior Stylist
Amy
Amy joined our team in 2018, she has been hairdressing for over 13 years and is a fashion junkie. Always knowing what’s going on in the world of fashion and a true thirst for the hair industry. She loves our education days and is always coming up with new ideas and techniques. Amy qualified to NVQ level 3 and has been involved with National and regional competitions. She is the salons Queen of the balayage, a gents specialist and can french braid with the best of them.
In 2019 Amy joined Michael in working on the VIBE team, Her knowledge of trends shone through when it comes to her wig work. Creating vibrant and current looks for models and styling them.
During lockdown due to Covid 19 Amy took online education and completed L’Oreal colour course Stage 4. She also completed programs in Covid safety in the workplace and Risk management courses.
